Paul Dodd is the manager at Rojano's in the Square, Padstow
Treleavens ice cream has been on the menu at Rojano's since the restaurant reopened after a complete refurbishment in March 2011.
Being an Italian restaurant, it was important they served an ice cream which was true to its origins, and after visiting a number of Cornish ice cream producers they chose to use Treleavens.
Paul Dodd said, 'We found Treleavens had the best quality ice cream and it was really similar to the authentic gelati we tasted when we went to Italy."
Treleavens have also created two bespoke flavours for Rojano's - the award-winning Frangelico, and Tutti Frutti - to complement their desserts Cioccolate Fondente, Calda Cialde and their ultimate knickerbocker glory: Gelati Mostro.
Paul said: "Our head chef Dan Jones really enjoyed working with the Treleavens team creating the bespoke flavours as it gave him a chance to try something new. Personally I have found Treleavens very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, they will go out of their way to make sure we get our delivery on time, even if I place an emergency order."
